About the Early Career Researcher 
(ECR) Program

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research — Institute of Cancer Research (CIHR-ICR) and the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute (CCSRI) are pleased to support the Early Career Researcher Program.

This program has been developed for the cancer research community at large, with a special focus towards newly established principal investigators / new faculty members (within their first 5 years of academic appointment) at Canadian universities, including new scientists and clinician scientists and senior postdocs (within 6 months of completing their training).

The 2015 Early Career Researcher Program included:
